Philippine Embassy: We do not recommend our nationals who have no Iqama to surrender themselves. Embassy is waiting for an official confirmation to Labor Minister Adel al Fakieh’s statement about the amnesty.

The Ministry of Labor’s response: The project is under study.

The statements made by the Minister of Labor Adel Al -Fakieh about the amnesty for illegal and overstaying foreigners, without being penalized in exchanged for surrendering themselves then repatriation has prompted the Philippine Embassy in Saudi Arabia to advise its nationals to not to surrender themselves until it receives an official confirmation, on the status of illegal and overstaying Filipino workers and granting final exit visas.

THE Kuwait Ministry of Health (MoH) is performing a system-wide restructuring of public health care delivery services as well as raising the standards of public health care in its various government hospitals to be at par with other global medical institutions.

In line with the country’s move of upgrading the public health care systems, some of the public hospitals are undergoing renovation and expansion. Some new hospitals are being constructed, the biggest of which is the Sheikh Jaber Medical City in South Surra named in honour of the late Amir HH Sheikh Jaber Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah. The Sheikh Jaber Medical City will be the largest medical centre in the State of Kuwait which will include four buildings with a total area of 469,370 square metres.

Ang sasakyan na nakabundol sa dalawang OFWs

January 7, 2013, 10:58AM, Baha, KSA – naaksidente po ang ating kasamahan sa Patnubay na si Romeo “Ka Romy” Carbonell at kanyang kasama sa trabaho. Safe naman si Ka Romy pero ang kanyang kasamahang Pilipino ay nasa kritikal pa na kalagayan.

Pagkatapos ng assignment nila sa Al Baha ay bumiyahe sila papuntang Taif. Dumaan sila sa isang blind curve nang may tumawid na isang camel at  aksidente nila itong nabundol. Ang kanilang takbo ay nasa 80kph lamang. Safe naman sina Ka Romy at kanyang kasamahan at maging ang camel ay buhay din. Lumabas sila ng sasakyan para tatawag ng pulis.
