MUST SHARE: Articles 231, 232 and 233: Ang parusa sa mga violators ng Saudi Labor Law at ang gantimpala sa mga nakapagtuklas ng violations.

Article 231

The violator is required to remove the violation within a deadline set by the regulation, if he fails to do so, he will be subjected to another violation. (Note: This is the Amendment of the Old Article 240)

Article 232

Amounts of the fines collected on account of the violations of the provisions of this law and the rules and decisions issued with respect thereto shall revert to the Human Resources Development Fund (Note: This was Article 242 before the Amendment)

Article 233

The Ministry may grant a financial reward of not more than 25% of the amount of the fine for those (inspectors or others) who help in the detection of any violation of the provisions of this this law and the rules and decisions issued with respect thereto. (Note: This is a newly added Article)

Article Numbering Amendments :

Article 240 becomes Article 231, Article 242 becomes Article 232, and newly added article becomes Article 233 of the Saudi Labor Law when Articles 229 to 239 and Article 241 are combined in two articles (Article 229 and Article 230).

These articles are the 36th, 37th and 38th amendments of the Saudi Labor Law

The Amendments were approved by HRH King Salman by Royal Decree no. D/46 dated 5/6/1436H., corresponding to 25/3/2015G. and comes into force on 18 October 2015

Reactions:

Ang pinakamaganda dito ay ang Article 233, na nakasaad na may reward na hindi lalagpas sa 25% sa babayarang fine ng isang violator. Dito maging masigasig ang mga labor inspectors na aaksyon kaagad. Ang mga workers ay magkaroon ng lakas ng loob na magsumbong kung totoo na may mga violations.

Maging ang mga tauhan ng POLO lalo na yong nasa POLO Al khobar at POLO Jeddah ay titino na ngayon dahil may katumbas na halaga ang pagsumbong ng bawat violation ng isang company o employer. Ito na siguro ang panahon na ang mga POLO Officers natin ay hindi na kakakabig at kakampi sa company o employer sa halip na sa mga OFW sila magserbisyo.
