Press Conference Highlights

Summary Report Worldwide

200,000 COVID-19 Cases have been confirmed in 163 countries

The recovered cases have reached 82 thousand at the moment and 8000 deaths have been reported

Summary Report Locally (KSA)

171 confirmed cases have been recorded in the Kingdom (87 males – 84 females) with 6 children

6 of the cases have been recovered. While 165 are currently being isolated receiving the proper medical care. Their health condition is reassuring and stable except one critical condition. 

Most 133 cases were connected to travelling or transiting through the high risk countries with the Coronavirus, as a result, 38 cases were caused by direct contact.

The epidemiological investigation was conducted and 800 cases of direct contact were isolated. 

The total number of those examined in the borders exceeded half a million

The total number of cases currently isolated is more than 8700 cases

The number of the advanced laboratory examinations have exceeded 12 thousand examinations.

MOH Call Center (937) handled over 220 thousand calls in regard to Coronavirus since the first announcement of the first cases.
