The new version of the “Furijat” service carries a qualitative development by classifying prisoners against whom they issued executive detention orders in financial cases unrelated to any criminal cases, according to priority in eligibility to pay according to a number of criteria.

All bills owed to those arrested in connection with financial cases will be included in the service of “Furijat” and linking with the “security” system with regard to the military against them who are issued executive detention orders, in addition to many technical improvements to the service.

This copy of the “Furijat” service comes after cooperation and partnership between the General Directorate of Prisons and the relevant authorities: the Ministry of Justice (the Ministry’s agency for enforcement of execution), the Ministry of Human Resources (the Ministry of Social Security Agency), and the Saudi Authority for Data and Artificial Intelligence (the National Information Center) , And the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (electronic payment system “SADAD”).

The initiative, “Furijat” service, was launched in the end of the holy month of Ramadan for the past year 1440 AH, and it is among the initiatives that the Ministry of Interior aims to involve the community in extending a helping hand to the detainees in financial cases, and making this available through a reliable digital platform represented by the “Absher” platform.
