Marso 22, 2021 – Dalawang Arabic na balita ang ating nabasa kahapon patungkol sa Filipino Domestic Workers sa Kuwait.

Sa pahayagang Kuwait Local, ibinalita ang pagkamatay ng isang Pinay na kasambahay sa Al Waha District na nagpakamatay umano sa pamamagitan ng pagbigti sa sarili sa loob ng bahay ng kanyang employer.

Sa pahayagang Al Qabas naman, ibinalita na posibleng ngayong Abril mag-uumpisa ang pagpapadala muli ng Pilipinas ng mga kasambahay sa Kuwait.

Filipina maid commits suicide

A 31-year-old Filipino maid ends her life by hanging herself at her sponsor’s home in Al-Waha. This is the second case of hanging in three days. According to a security source, the operations room at the Ministry of Interior received a notification that a Filipino worker had committed suicide at her sponsor’s home in Al-Waha. Police and paramedics rushed to the house and referred the body to forensic medicine. Standard police investigations are ongoing.
