POEA revokes licenses of 35 recruitment firms

The Philippine Overseas Employment Administration, from January to May 2012, has cancelled the licenses of 21 recruitment agencies and suspended 14 others, including five agencies charged motu propio by the office, for numerous recruitment violations.

In his report to DOLE Secretary Rosalinda Dimapilis-Baldoz, Administrator Hans Leo J. Cacdac said the POEA has initiated the filing of cases against Philglobal Manpower Development Corporation; CSM International Recruitment Services, Inc., Gyron Crew, Inc.; Crosswind International Manpower Services; and Acclaimed One Manpower and Recruitment Services.

“These agencies were found to have violated various provisions of the POEA rules and regulations and Republic Act No. 10022 and were meted with appropriate sanctions provided under the law,” Cacdac said.

According to the report, the agencies with cancelled licenses are:

  1. EMR Construction and Manpower Services Inc.
  2. Tai-Fil Manpower Services Corporation
  3. Lucky International Placement Services, Inc.
  4.  Jems International Placement Agency Corp.
  5.  Masaya International Placement Agency
  6.  Prime Stars International Promotion Corporation
  7. Dreams Manpower and Recruitment Agency
  8. G & D Manpower International, Inc.
  9. Green Manpower Management and Development Services
  10. Asahi International Manpower Corporation
  11.  Multi-System Conexions International, Inc.
  12. Petra Personnel Employment and Technical Recruitment Agency, Inc.
  13. RV Tria International Recruitment Agency
  14. Hope International Agency
  15. Jerphi Overseas Placement and Trading Corporation
  16. LPN Manpower Services Inc.
  17. Ritz Manpower Services
  18.  Northwest Placement Inc.
  19.  Active Manpower and General Services
  20. Gold & Green Manpower Services and Development Services
  21. and Acclaimed One Manpower and Recruitment Services.

“Overseas placement and manning agencies with standing cancellation or suspension orders are prohibited from engaging in recruitment activities until the said orders are lifted,” Cacdac said.

For the reporting period, Cacdac said the POEA has suspended the licenses of the following agencies:

  1. Al Ashiera International Manpower Services
  2. Vogue Plus Promotion
  3.  Mi Amore International Services, Inc.
  4. Louis International Manpower
  5. Awas Manpower Services
  6. Crosswind International Manpower
  7. and LML Human Resources Services.

POEA also issued orders of preventive suspension against

  1. Reajent Manpower Services, Inc.
  2. Shfia International
  3. Crosswind International Manpower
  4. Gyron Crew Inc.
  5.  CSM International
  6.  Philglobal Manpower Development Corporation
  7. and Riley International Employment Services and Training Center, Inc. ###
