Disyembre 14, 2021 – Inanunsyo ng Bureau of Investigation and Prosecution (BIP) ng Kaharian ng Saudi Arabia, na kailangan na ang mga manlalakbay, at transportation operators, na papasok sa bansa, ay dapat ideklara ang kanilang pagbisita sa mga bansang apektado ng COVID19 at ang mga strain nito.

Article (21) of the health monitoring system at the ports of entry states: All travelers coming to the Kingdom on international flights and those responsible for the various means of transport and their operators through the ports of entry, must adhere to international and local health instructions and requirements to prevent the spread of diseases that have a severe impact on public health. The competent authority shall take all necessary preventive and remedial measures detailed in the executive regulations of this system in the event of any health emergency that raises international concern.

While Article (25) stipulates that, without prejudice to any more severe penalty stipulated in other regulations, anyone who violates this shall be punished with a fine of up to 500,000 riyals, and the violator, the operator, or the owner of the means of transportation, shall bear any damage resulting from his violation

While the article (26) of the same system provided stipulates
that if the violation is accompanied by the commission of a criminal act, the case shall be referred to the Public Prosecution Office with the accused, in preparation for filing the case before the competent court.
