Dear OFW-SOS Team,
Attached please find my proposed OFW SOS SMS ad concept.
In the previous email exchanges, I noticed that some of you have shown interest
in the "SALBABIDA" concept.
Below, I would like to explain further what the (attached) picture means:

Why SALBABIDA?
Salbabida is a life-saving tool. The OFW SOS SMS Hotline was conceptualized,
designed, and developed to function like a salbabida.
What the picture means:
CENTER CORE - OFWs scattered all over the world
At the center is the focus of the system... the OFWs, wherever they may be.
MIDDLE LAYER - the OFW SOS SMS Hotline.
The link (thru SMS technology) between the distressed OFWs and the potential
life guards.
OUTER LAYER - the Life Guards... the team.
The team is composed of:
CMA - forwards SOS messages and monitors progress of each case. May directly
intervene in case resolution.
Govt. Agencies - initital targets are OUMWA and OWWA. The prime actors in case
resolution. We expect them to act on the forwarded SOS messages.
NGOs / OFW volunteers - our global networks. May be tapped to assist, if
necessary.
The case resolution (the saving) must be viewed as a team effort. In this way,
the government may have a different view at the system and MOA might be at hand
soon.
In responding to a distressed call, the SOS SMS System plus the joint efforts of
the team (respondendts) may keep the victim's head above water.
I think departing OFWs will also have a positive response to the picture since
it symbolizes a life-saving tool. It also shows who are there for them just in
case they need help.
The how-to / instructions must always be present in all ad materials and a brief
explanation of what the OFW SOS SMS is all about.
I hope I have presented the "SALBABIDA" concept in a clearer way.
Repectfully yours,
