CJ55248 - Computerized Judging System
The SE Computerized Judging
System (CJ55248) is a software developed by
Tasio Espiritu to automate the judging system of any competition
with the use of personal computers.

Modules :

1. The Judge's Tally
Sheet - this is the module to be used by the judges. Each
judge has this program installed in the personal computer (preferably a
notebook) designated for him.

2. The Projector
Display - this is the program to be installed in the pc that is
connected to the display projector.

3. The Control Panel -
this is the module that controls on what to display in both the
Judge's Tally Sheet Module and in the Projector Display Module.

4. The SMS Hotline
Module - this is the module that captures all the SMS votes sent by
the audience.

1. The Judge's Tally
Sheet Module

1.1 - This
is the login screen - The judge has to type his/her name. (you
may click the picture above for a bigger display)

1.2 - This is the
contestant's score entry -Solo Performance Category (you may click the picture above for a bigger
display) - The judge may score a contestant using the buttons or by simply
typing the score in the text box. The Control Panel Module
installed in another pc and in the same network (LAN) will control on what
contestant to be displayed and to be scored.

1.2 - This is the
Intermission Movie for Judge's Tally Sheet Module - After all
the judges have entered the score for a contestant, this function will be
activated and a screensaver look-alike will be displayed in their
terminals. This is again controlled remotely by the Control Panel
Module.
Note - the PC
intended for the Judge's Tally Sheet module should be connected to a LAN
together with the Control Panel Module and the Projetor Display Module.
2. The Projector Display
Module
The projector display should
have the most colorful and most attractive templates of all the modules.
You can change the templates and the pictures without recoding the
program.

2.1 - Contestant Info Screen - the
picture (you may click the picture above for a bigger display) shows the
information of the contestant which will be displayed on the screen. This
will be displayed while the contestant is currently presenting his number.
This is also controlled by the Control Panel Module.

2.2- Contestant Score
Board - the picture (you may click the picture above for a
bigger display) shows the score of the contestant which will be
displayed on the screen after a contestant's performance. Again this is
controlled by the Control Panel Module.

2.3 - Contestants' Score
Updates - the picture (you may click the picture above for a bigger
display) shows the score of all contestants after a certain category. In
this case, the score is for the contestants' solo performance category.

2.4 - Contestants' Final
Score Results - the picture (you may click the picture above for a
bigger display) shows the scores of all contestants after all categories
are performed by all contestants. In this event, there are 2 categories
one for solo performance (70 %) and one for group performance (30%)

2.5 - Contestants' Text
Votes Updates - the picture (you may click the picture above for a
bigger display) above shows the text votes of all contestants. With
the aid of a GSM modem and our SMS Hotline Module, this text vote system
can be displayed live in the projector.

2.6 - Intermission Movies
- the picture (you may click the picture above to view our sample
intermission movies)
shows the first intermission movie, you may add some advertisements or
pictures and logos of all your all sponsors. If you want to view some of
our movies, you may click here.
Note - the PC
intended for the Projector Display module should be connected to a LAN
together with the Control Panel Module and the Judge's Tally Sheet Module.
For better viewing, connect the display projector equipment to the
computer where the Projector Display Module is ran.
3.The Control Panel
Module

This module's basic function
is to control the display and processes of both the Judge's Tally Sheet
Module and the Projector Display module. The Control Panel Module is
another program and must be run in an independent pc connected to a
network.

Basic Parts and Functions of
the Control Panel Module
A. Judges Control Panel
- this panel handles all the controls for the Judge's Tally Sheet
module.

A1 - The Contestant
Selector - here you will select and submit which contestant to be
displayed and be graded by the judges. The contestant to be displayed
and to be scored in the Judge's Tally Sheet will be based on what
contestant number being clicked here.

A2 - The Judges
Monitor - Once a judge enters his score for a specified contestant his
name will appear here.

A3 - The
Screensaver button - by clicking this button, the Intermission
movie for the Judges Tally Sheet will be activated.

A4 - Quit Judges -
The judges cannot quit their terminals, quitting of the Judge's
Tally sheet Module will be done here.
B. Projector Control
Panel - this panel handles all the controls for the Projector
Display module.

- The Display Intermission Movie Control - This function will
command the Projector Display module to display all the
intermission movies in sequential order.

- The Display Contestant Info Control - This function will
command the Projector Display Module to display the information of the
contestant specified in the Contestant Selector of the Judges Control
Panel (see A1). After commanding the judge's tally sheet module to
display the desired contestant (see A1), the Contestant Info Control in
the Projector Control panel should also be clicked.

- The Display Contestant Score Control - by clicking this
button, the score of the contestant will be displayed on the Projector
Display Module. Be sure that all the judges have scored (you can monitor
the judges who scored for a specific contestant, see A2), and by
clicking this function, the score of the contestant will be displayed
in the Projector Display Module.

- The Display Text Vote Updates Control - when you click this
button, the text voting results will be displayed in the Projector
Display Module.

- The Display Solo Performance Score Control - when you click
this button, the results (scores for all contestants) for a certain
category will be displayed in the Projector Display Module. (take note,
that different contests have different categories, in this program you
can display all the scores in each category)

- The Quit Projector Display Control - you cannot quit the
Projector Display Module from its own PC. You can only only do it from
this function.
C. Quit Control Panel -
This function will close the Control Panel Module.
