{"id":7385,"date":"2012-11-08T12:21:12","date_gmt":"2012-11-08T09:21:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/patnubay.org\/?p=7385"},"modified":"2019-06-14T18:26:29","modified_gmt":"2019-06-14T15:26:29","slug":"dfa-another-batch-of-repatriates-from-syria-to-arrive-friday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/patnubay.org\/?p=7385","title":{"rendered":"DFA: Another Batch of Repatriates from Syria to Arrive Friday"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>8 November 2012 &#8211; In line with the Government&#8217;s on-going efforts to bring our countrymen caught in the violence in Syria back home, another batch of 49 Filipinos will arrive in Manila tomorrow, November 09.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The repatriates will arrive at 4 p.m. on aboard Emirates flight EK 332.<\/p>\n<p>This will bring the total number of repatriates to 2,930.<\/p>\n<p>The batch&#8217;s airfare was shouldered by the International Organization for Migration (IOM).<\/p>\n<p>As of November 06, 192 Filipinos are being given refuge by the Philippine Embassy in Damascus while their repatriation is being processed.<\/p>\n<p>The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) also reiterated its call on the family members of Filipinos in Syria to provide latest information regarding their relatives&#8217; current location and contact details in Syria. Those who wish to do so may call the Office of the Undersecretary for Migrant Workers&#8217; Affairs (OUMWA) at (02) 834-4996 or the DFA Action Center at (02) 834-3333.<\/p>\n<p>Filipinos in Syria may also contact the Embassy for assistance at 963-11-6132626.
