The Curious Case of the Eleven 11 Trailer Truck Drivers of Jeddah – Part 2

Share this:

Accounting & Liquidation for the Subsistence Allowance Jeddah Trailer Truck Drivers

Abu Bakr Espiritu

Abu Bakr Espiritu

for akiro deployed workers ang expected na amount na matatanggap for three workers ay 1200usd

pero ang pinadala nila ay 4205.56 SAR

which is equivalent 1115.53USD lamang (if ang ating conversion ay 1USD = 3.77SAR)

See Western union receipt below

Abu Bakr Espiritu

Abu Bakr Espiritu

kaya ito ang ating accounting for disbursement at liquidation para sa 3 workers deployed ng akiro (see below)

Abu Bakr Espiritu

sa tc nivero naman ang expected total amount na matatanggap for two workers

ay 1000 USD

ang pinadala nila ay 3699.12 SAR

which is equivalent 981.21USD  (kung ang conversion natin ay 1USD =  3.77 SAR)

See Western Union Receipt Below

Abu Bakr Espiritu

The money was sent last week. Anyway, I am attaching the transaction receipt and number. Mr. Redentor will get it straight from Western Union. WU allowed the money ti be sent since it will only be for five of the truck drivers. I am also attaching the email from pioneer for your reference. Please make the workers sign across their names and send back to me.

Ad for the others whose families will receive the allowance here, we will let you know if they got the money already. We will wait for them at POEA.

Pero i will still send this documents dahil naipangako ko at para dagdag katibayan na rin . nasa ba ba po ang mga documents na patunay. isinama ko na rin ang grievance ng mga workers re polo’s service.

re. sending the allowance po. pwede  pong ipadala thru western union or moneygram at polo ang magreceive. or pwede rin sa mga kasamahan namin sa jeddah if walang vali na iqama ang mga workers.

by the way po. i just learned that one of the 11 workers ay hindi first contract kaya di pala sya entitled for the subsistence allowance. compulsory insurance. ang name ng worker is rosalito balangon

Maraming salamat po dir. obet for the usual support and good service para sa aming mga ofws

Dear Ka Joseph,

Labatt Rasul has sent to me the certification on pending case. This is enough. You dont need to send any other document as I requested.

I will forward the same to Pioneer and request immediate release of the subsistence allowance. What is the best option to send it?

Please let me know the wishes of the workers.

Thanks and  Best regards,
Obet

Dear Ka Joseph,

Do the workers have any document in their possession to show proof that they filed a case? If yes, is it possible for to send it to me so I could endorse to Pioneer Insurance to facilitate payment of subsistence allowance? Thanks.

Best regards,
Obet
