NSM 01-2020
Pursuant to POEA Governing Board Resolution No.1 Series of 2020 on the imposition of partial deployment ban in Kuwait, please be advised of the following:
- The ban applies only to Visa 20 (Domestic Workers) for both new hires and balik manggagawa (BM). This includes the verification, accreditation and processing of individual contracts and additional Job Order (JO) for Visa 20.
- All Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC) issued to Domestic Workers by the POEA on or before 5 pm of 3 January 2020 shall be valid for deployment.
- The ban is effective on January 3, 2020.
