KSA MOH: Three (3) Stages sa pagbibigay ng libreng COVID-19 vaccine.

Disyembre 15, 2020 – Inanunsyo ng Ministry of Health (MOH) ng Kaharian ng Saudi Arabia na ang lahat ng citizens (Saudi Nationals) at residents (expatriates) ay magregister sa Sehaty Application upang makakuha ng COVID-19 vaccine, umpisa sa Disyembre 15, 2020.

Binigyang diin ng MOH ang kaligtasan at pagiging epektibo ng bagong vaccine na napatunayan “safe at effective” pagkatapos dumaan ng pagsubok. Tiniyak din ng MOH na lahat ng citizens at residents ay makakakuha ng bakuna ng libre.

Ang pagbibigay ng vaccine ay may Three (3) Stages.

Ang First stage, ay para sa mga citizens at residents na higit sa 65 taon gulang, ang pinaka-mahina ang kategorya, mga obese (matataba) na ang bmi ay lagpas sa 40, mga taong may immunodeficiency, at iyong may 2 o mahigit pa na chronic diseases.

Ang Second stage, ay para sa lahat ng mga citizens at residents na may edad na higit sa 50 at chronic disease.

Ang Third stage, ay para sa lahat ng mga citizens at residents na naghahangad na makatanggap ng bakuna.

KSA MOH Starts Registering Citizens and Residents for COVID-19 Vaccination

​​With the generous and continuous support of the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his Crown Prince, may Allah protect them, the Ministry of Health (MOH) has started registering citizens and residents for free COVID-19 vaccine via “Sehaty” App​, effective today December 15th, 2020.

MOH has confirmed the safety and effectiveness of the vaccine after successfully passing all testing stages with strong immune response and antibodies. The vaccination is free for all citizens and residents as per the directives of the wise leadership.

The vaccination will be carried out in 3 stages, and each stage has target groups as follows:

First Stage, Target Group:

Citizens and residents who are over 65 years and professionals who are most vulnerable to infection.

Those who are obese with a Body Mass Index (BMI) of over 40.
Those who have immune deficiency such as organ transplantation or taking immunosuppressive drugs.

Those who have two or more of the following chronic diseases: asthma, diabetes, chronic kidney disease, chronic heart disease, including coronary artery disease, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and those with a previous stroke.

Second Stage, Target Group:

Citizens and residents over 50 years, and the rest of health practitioners.

Those with one of the following chronic diseases: asthma, diabetes, chronic kidney disease, chronic heart disease, including coronary artery disease, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, active cancer, and those with obesity and a Body Mass Index (BMI) between 30-40.

Third Stage, Target Group:

All citizens and residents wishing to get the vaccine.

MOH pointed out that this step comes as a continuation of the efforts and proactive measures taken by the Kingdom since the beginning of the pandemic, to combat the spread of the virus and maintain the health and safety of citizens and residents.

As previously announced, the Kingdom is one of the first countries to receive the vaccines from the leading global manufacturers through COVAX International.​
