Here’s all you need to know about the new restrictions being imposed by authorities in Qatar to curb the latest rise in #COVID19 infection

WORKPLACE

  • Staff at all government and private workplaces not to exceed 80% of total number of employees
  • Remainding 20% to work remotely
  • Meetings not to have more than 15 employees at any one time

SPORTS & RECREATION

  • All children’s outdoor playgrounds to be shut
  • All indoor amusement parks and play areas to be shut
  • Outdoor amusement parks can operate to a maximum 30% capacity
  • Beach and park gatherings not to surpass 15 people
  • Cinemas not to surpass 30% capacity and only over 18’s allowed
  • Reduce capacity of Museums to 50%
  • Boat and yacht rentals to be suspended until further notice
  • All indoor swimming pools & water parks to be shut, outdoor pools to operate at 30%

SOCIAL & RELIGIOUS GATHERINGS

  • Public toilets and ablution facilitates at mosques to remain closed
  • Condolences in the case of bereavement not to exceed 5 people indoors & 15 in open space
  • All indoor weddings are banned unless they are held at home with no more than 10 people

TRANSPORT

  • EVERYONE leaving their homes MUST wear a mask, this can only be taken off while driving ALONE in the car
  • Buses can only operate 50% capacity
  • @metrotram_qa to maintain 30% capacity cap
  • Driving schools can only work at 25%

EDUCATION

  • Educational centres and private training centres to operate at 30% capacity
  • Nurseries only to operate at 30%
  • Schools and kindergartens to continue operating according to current procedures

RETAIL & RESTAURANTS

  • Wholesale market to allow no more than 30% of its capacity
  • Traditional markets to operate at 50%
  • Restaurants not to operate at a maximum of 15% for dine-in
  • Restaurants with ‘Qatar Clean’ certificate can operate at 30%
