🛑 The Ultimate Law to End Political Dynasties

📰 Why Family Rule is a Big Problem

When powerful families control the government, they use their name and money to fill every important job, from the country’s capital down to the local town hall, with their own relatives.

This isn’t good for the following reasons:

  • No Fair Fight – An honest, qualified person who is not related to the ruling family has almost no chance to win an election or get a good government job.
  • Total Control equals Total Corruption – If the father is the Senator and the son is the local Mayor, who is left to hold them accountable? The family protects itself, and public money gets treated like their private bank account.

✅ The Solution: The “Only One” Rule

To completely stop family control, we need a simple, absolute rule: Only one person from a close family can hold any government job—anywhere—at any time.

How the “Only One” Rule Works (The Chain Reaction):

This rule works like a chain reaction. The whole system locks down when one family member gets into office:

  • If the National Leader is in: If your relative is a very high-ranking official (like a Senator or President), the entire family is blocked. No close relative can run for any political job (Mayor, Governor, etc.) or hold any hired government job (as a teacher, nurse, or clerk).
  • If the Local Leader is in: If your relative is a Mayor or Governor, the close family is blocked from all other jobs within that city, province, and all the villages underneath it.

The Bottom Line: If your name is on the “Close Family” list, you must quit your government job or step down from the election the moment your relative takes office.

⌛ The Rule to Stop Succession (The Six-Year Ban)

We also need a rule to stop families from simply passing the seat back and forth between relatives after a term limit is hit.

  • When an elected official finishes their maximum term in office (they hit their three-term limit). That official and their close relatives cannot run for that same position again until a full six years have passed.
  • The Goal – This ensures that the family loses control of the seat for a complete, subsequent term, giving non-dynasty candidates a real chance to compete.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Who is “Close Family”? The Simple List

The rule defines “Close Family” as the immediate family circle (the Second Degree):

Your Spouse (Husband/Wife), your Parents, your Children, your Brothers and Sisters, your Grandparents and Grandchildren, and all of their immediate family by marriage, such as your Brothers-in-Law and Sisters-in-Law.

🛡️ Making the Law Powerful

A rule this strict needs strong support:

  • Honesty Pledge – Every person running for office must promise under oath that they are not breaking the “Only One” rule.
  • Instant Removal – If a family member breaks the rule, the government watchdog must immediately remove the relative from their job.
  • Real Punishment –  If the highest-ranking family member deliberately tries to cheat the system to keep two relatives in power, they must face severe consequences, including losing their own office.

By locking down the government to allow only one person per family, we can guarantee that public service is truly open to the best and brightest citizens, finally ending the era of family rule.
